History

Coubrough Equine Reproduction Centre opens its doors to the equestrian community the 29th of august 2008, it is authorized by the Uruguayan MGAP, in order to export semen overseas.

It was founded by its Chief Veterinarian Dr. Charles Coubrough, doctor in technology and veterinary medicine graduate from Universidad de la Republica in Uruguay, with nineteen years of independent practice in the field of animal reproduction in which he continues his education as former alumni of Colorado State University, Texas A&M, Universidad Nacional de Rio Cuarto, Universidad Católica de Córdoba, in between others.

The centre is dedicated to offering high quality reproductive services for equines. Coubrough Equine Reproduction centre is located in the establishment La Magdalena, in Cno. San Juan 1500 meters from Route 101 kilometer 24,500, Canelones- Uruguay.

It counts with the facilities and equipment necessary to provide a superior quality service. At present times two veterinarians are employed as well as non-veterinarian assisting staff.

We hope and strive to provide an excellent service in equine reproduction biotechnology to the breeders, that meets and exceeds every possible expectation, and that safeguards animal wellbeing, in collaboration with the development of the genetics.
